The Fisher College of Business , the School of Business at Ohio State University, is accepting applications for full MBA scholarship programs in the USA .
Those selected will have the opportunity to take a course with renowned teachers, which combines theory and practice within a global perspective. More than 90% of school graduates find employment in less than three months after completing their studies.
The Ohio State University MBA costs more than $55,000 for foreign students. However, according to the institution, most admitted international students qualify for scholarships.
Full Scholarship for MBA at Fisher College of Business
Ohio State University ( The Ohio State University ) has several support programs for MBA students. They include grants, part-time jobs, and financing.
According to the institution, on average 75% of full-time MBA students receive some type of scholarship. Every student admitted to courses is automatically considered to receive some financial aid .

Fisher Scholarships
The program covers from $1,500 to the total cost of tuition, that is, a full MBA scholarship. While some of these supports require specific qualifications, such as performance or previous work experience, many are requirement-free.
The full MBA scholarship will be offered based on the candidates’ potential to contribute to the classroom experience.
Some of the Fisher Scholarship opportunities:
- Professional development grants;
- Up to 5 scholarships for an MBA in Technological Entrepreneurship;
- Diversity scholarships;
- Scholarships for international students (Africa, South America, Europe, etc.).
A limited number of applicants are eligible to receive a full MBA scholarship that also includes assistance for non-academic expenses — i.e., living costs.
International Student Ambassador
Each year, two international students are selected to serve as Fisher “ambassadors.” Their role is to assist prospective students in the school’s admissions process.
Ambassadors receive a 50% fee waiver and a monthly stipend of $715 during the academic year. In return, they must work ten hours a week.
The requirements for this program are:
- Be admitted to the full-time MBA;
- Have a strong academic record;
- Have oral and written communication and time management skills;
- Successfully interview with the school’s director of admissions.
Scholarship for the Americas
The program was created to attract a greater number of students from South and Central America to Ohio State University’s business school.
The full MBA scholarship in the USA is awarded to a candidate who demonstrates:
- Strong academic aptitude;
- Competitive GMAT or GRE test scores ;
- Professional experience;
- Leadership potential ;
- Desire for professional development.
In addition to a full tuition exemption for two years, the scholarship includes a monthly stipend of $1,435 . Fellows are expected to assist the Office of Graduate Programs to increase recruitment of students from Latin America.
How to Apply for an MBA at Ohio State University
There is no separate application for the full MBA scholarship. Therefore, interested parties must apply for the course. To register, you will need to submit:
- Academic record;
- GMAT or GRE results ;
- Certificate of proficiency in English ( TOEFL or IELTS );
- Curriculum;
- Letters of recommendation (optional).
Candidates must write mandatory personal statements . The texts are an opportunity for you to introduce yourself and tell a little about your experience and your goals.
You will also need to complete a recorded or online interview to complete your application.
