What the Garcia Family Foundation Scholarship Covers
The program aimed at Brazilians will grant 10 scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the USA. The benefit amount is $7,000 annually. Scholarships can be renewed for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Anyone who is not included in the program in this year's edition can try to compete again next year, in 2025.
The ideal candidate is a Brazilian student who has already been accepted into a North American university and is already in the United States. All fields of study are covered by the GFF. Low-income students are particularly encouraged to apply.

Apply for a scholarship that covers the cost of living in the USA
To apply for the scholarship that covers the cost of living in the USA, you must complete the application form available on the website. In it, the candidate must provide their personal data (e-mail, telephone, date of birth, etc.) and details about their studies and training. There is also a part about knowledge of the English language and another about professional experience.

In addition, you will need to answer some questions about your personal interests and your life story – including travel, for example. Finally, the candidate is also asked to write an essay on one of the proposed topics. A photo, CV and academic record must be attached to the application.

After receiving the application, the interested party will be informed whether or not they have been approved for the second phase. The names of those selected for the GGF program will be announced by July 5th.
